Without ingredients from the side of the world
Our ingredients travel as little as possible. They come from countries bordering Belgium, with a few exceptions, but Europeans !
No palm oil, of course, but also no coconut, shea, castor, or cocoa, in terms of fats. And no external thickener, like xanthan gum or guar gum...
For this, some of our solid soaps are produced partly from beef tallow, prepared by us from the fat of Limousin cows, raised organically in Bergerac (France).
For those who prefer a plant-based alternative, we use rapeseed wax, certified ECOCERT and produced in France.
Furthermore, our liquid soaps, all vegan, benefit from sodium lactate, certified ECOCERT and produced in France. Its role: to naturally give them a soft and silky coating, without added thickeners from the ends of the earth!
Our ingredients, their origins and their benefits for your skin and the soap
Extracted from soybean seeds, this oil is naturally rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It helps to maintain hydration, softens the skin and is suitable for daily use, even for sensitive skin.
Cold-pressed from soybean seeds, this oil retains more of its active compounds. Rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, it nourishes, protects and contributes to the skin's suppleness.
An ethical and sustainable alternative to oils and fats from the Southern Hemisphere, beef tallow, prepared by us from the fat of Limousin cows raised in organic farming, has a long tradition in cosmetics and soap making.
Rich in saturated fatty acids (notably stearic acid), it gives soap a nice hardness, a creamy and stable lather, while providing excellent compatibility with the skin. Gentle, protective and nourishing, it is particularly suitable for dry or sensitive skin.
Obtained from sunflower varieties naturally rich in oleic acid (omega-9), this oxidation-stable oil is particularly suitable for cold saponification. It nourishes and protects the skin, helps maintain its elasticity, while leaving a soft and non-greasy touch. Rich in vitamin E, it is suitable for sensitive skin and for daily use.
Ethical alternative to beeswax, rapeseed wax is 100% plant-based and rich in saturated fatty acids. It contributes to the hardness and stability of soap, while softening and smoothing the skin. It forms a light protective film without a greasy effect and gives a nice hold to the soap. (Compatible with the COSMOS standard)
White clay (kaolin) is a 100% natural mineral powder, known for its purifying and soothing properties. It gently cleanses the skin, absorbs excess sebum and enhances the skin — even the most sensitive (Compatible with the COSMOS standard).
Derived from the natural fermentation of beet sugar, this ingredient is an excellent humectant, helping to maintain skin hydration. It improves the texture of solid soap, making it harder and smoother — which extends its lifespan. It also provides a fluid, coating, and silky texture to liquid soap. (Compatible with the COSMOS standard)
Fine salt from Camargue, naturally rich in minerals, this salt enhances the texture of the soap, stabilises its lather and extends its lifespan. It gently cleanses the skin and leaves a lasting feeling of freshness and purity. (Compatible with the COSMOS standard)
Rich in omega-9, vitamins A and E, it helps to strengthen the skin barrier, supports skin elasticity and protects sensitive skin from external aggressions. It nourishes, softens and soothes fragile or irritated skin, while supporting the natural hydration of the epidermis.
Naturally rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (notably omega-3 and omega-6) as well as vitamin E, walnut oil helps to maintain skin hydration while improving its suppleness and softness. It is valued for its nourishing and regenerating properties, ideal for dry, dull, or tired skin.
