Savonnerie Aster


1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all orders placed on the site www.savon-dou.com by individual consumers.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted the GTCS without reservation.

2. Products

The soaps and hygiene products offered on the site are handcrafted in Belgium.

The photos on the site are non-contractual, but we strive to represent our products accurately.

Due to manual production, slight variations in colour, shape or weight may exist.

3. Prices

The prices displayed on the site are expressed in euros VAT included (all taxes included), in accordance with the applicable VAT rate in Belgium.

Delivery charges are indicated at the time of ordering, before payment validation.

Savonnerie Aster reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products are billed based on the rates in force at the time of order confirmation.

4. Orders

The customer selects their products, adds them to the basket, provides their personal information and chooses a delivery method.

The order is considered validated after payment confirmation.

Savonnerie Aster reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in case of a prior dispute with a customer, incorrect address or suspicion of fraud.

5. Payment

The accepted payment methods are :

  • Bank card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Bancontact
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer
  • Secure payment via our partners (including SumUp for the physical sale)

The order is only dispatched after effective receipt of the payment.

6. Delivery

6.1 Available carriers

Depending on the geographical area, several delivery options may be offered:

  • Bpost : home delivery and collection points
  • DPD : home delivery
  • Mondial Relay : delivery at a collection point and/or at home depending on availability

The carriers displayed at checkout depend on the delivery address.

6.2 Indicative deadlines

The deadlines below are expressed in working days :

  • Belgium : 3 to 4 days
  • France : 4 to 6 days
  • Other European countries : 4 to 10 days

These deadlines are provided for guidance and may vary depending on the carrier or periods of high activity.

6.3 Tracking and responsibility

Once handed over to the carrier, the parcel can be tracked via its tracking number (when available).

Savonnerie Aster cannot be held responsible for delays, losses or damages attributable to the carrier.

In case of delivery problems, the customer agrees to contact Savonnerie Aster within a reasonable time so that we can intervene with the carrier if necessary.

7. Right of withdrawal

7.1 Legal period

The customer has a legal period of 14 days from the receipt of the package to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.

7.2 Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Economic Law Code, personal hygiene products cannot be returned once they have been opened, unpacked or used, for health reasons.

Sealed and unused soaps can be returned.

7.3 Return procedure

The customer must notify their decision to withdraw within 14 calendar days by email to :

The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, in packaging that allows for its transport.

The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The refund will occur within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

8. Legal warranty

The products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity provided by Belgian law.

In case of a defect, the customer must contact us quickly with a precise description of the problem and photos.

10. Personal data (GDPR)

The data collected during the order is used exclusively for the management of purchases, delivery and customer relations.

The customer can request to consult, modify or delete their data at any time by writing to matthieu.meaulle@gmail.com

Data is never sold to third parties.

11. Intellectual property

All texts, images, logos and content present on the site are the exclusive property of Savonnerie Aster.

Any reproduction, in whole or in part, is prohibited without permission.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These general terms and conditions are subject to Belgian law.

In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those of the judicial district of the registered office of Savonnerie Aster.
